How to nourish your skin from the inside out

Lately I’ve been feeling so much love coursing through me and I absolutely can’t even contain it. The results of my work have been POPPIN and I’m just so obsessed with helping you to look and feel soooo beautiful.

I used to wonder “is this work deep enough? Is it enough? Is there something else?” Well yes - the DEPTH of it is how your life transforms when you feel your most radiant.

Think about how kind, soft, joyful, patient, more at ease, and more YOU—you are when you feel confident and happy in your skin. How much more capacity you have.

And you have more ability to work through the hard stuff, the darker stuff, the stuff that keeps you from experiencing peace when you’re in a place of loving being you.

This is healing. For you, and for everyone.

That's the depth. It’s the ripple effect that moves out through you into the world. You’re experiencing the truth of your beauty, and then you’re bringing MORE of that beauty into the world and creating more harmony.

And beauty is truth. And nature LOVES beauty. And you are nature. It all makes sense.

The work I do with my clients, with my Inner Beauty Circle members, with YOU—dearest reader (in a Lady Whistledown voice)—is here to make you MORE YOU.

It’s not to change you into something you aren't, or something you “should” be. It’s peeling back the layers of tension, stress, and trauma to reveal the most lifted, bright, smooth, easeful, VIBRANT version of you.

Helping you to surrender, unwind, melt, and dissolve into your true nature of peace and ease. The parasympathetic nervous system state of healing.

And it is safe to be peaceful (this is my mantra that’s been healing me).

Okay and now for what I promised to share with you…

Your skin is primarily fed and nourished from the BOTTOM up. So basically, all of the nutrients, oxygen, fluid, and life-sustaining goodness your skin needs to live and thrive come from your deeper tissues.

Tension, stress, and just general life-ing create a hardness and density within your connective tissue system. And in essence, this doesn't allow that rejuvenating flow to your skin. So you start looking and feeling more dull, lackluster, a darkening under your eyes, some puffiness and fluid accumulation, sagging.

The remedy is MOVEMENT. Movement through massage, through gua sha, through connective tissue work, lymphatic drainage, facial exercises—pick your favorite or do all of it. Movement heals and rejuvenates your skin more than anything else can.

So this really needs to be your priority.

Movement is the MEAT, POTATOES, AND VEGETABLES of face care for aging well. It’s the MEAL.

Once you've nourished your skin with movement, the final touch is what you put on it—supporting your skin's natural function with products that work in harmony with your body.
