How Healing Can Support Your Beauty

Hi Beautiful friends,

I had the opportunity to be a guest on a the Self Care Is My Job Podcast and share what got me into the wonderful world of bodywork, touch-based facial rejuvenation, energetic and cellular beauty, and healing through movement.

In this episode called "Shedding the Layers: Releasing Tension and Trauma" I chat with Sam Long, and share my vulnerable and personal story about body image, multiple breast surgeries, scarring and the whole emotional and physical journey that followed.

After working with with a myofascial release specialist as part of my own healing work, the greatest trauma and "regret" of my life became my greatest gift, and completely shifted my life's path.

In this episode we talk about:

- My approach to Beauty, and how changeable the face and body are with the right information.

- The fascia, and how your body remembers every occurrence in your life.

- Nonlinear movement, the lymphatic system, and how to let go of tension and armoring in the body for ultimate flow and beauty support.

- How to gently release stored trauma in a loving way.

I hope you enjoy! You can listen on:

"Ultimately what we're talking about is how to support ourselves completely. I don't believe in 'no pain, no gain' or 'beauty is pain' - that saying needs to be completely abolished from our language. Beauty is meant to be supportive, and healing..."

"My goal is not to change people's faces. My goal is to help them change their relationship to it - and then to help facilitate the shedding of the layers that are not them. The layers they've accumulated, the hardening - the armor that we wear...that's really where I'm trying to work."
