“All women are natural women” ~ redefining natural beauty care for self-actualization
FREE ZOOM CONVERSATION TOMORROW! “All women are natural women” ~ redefining natural beauty care for self-actualization.
Creating room for your rich and unique history, your humanness, your deep desires to feel beautiful and allowing yourself the space for all that has and will transpire as you evolve.
Have you heard the term “all birth is natural birth?” The term “natural birth” (meaning no pain management, or medical intervention) is now deemed outdated, and judgmental.
If you’re close to my work, you know that I’ve battled a bit... Walking the line between trying to be as “natural” as possible, while also accepting, integrating, and embracing the “unnatural” things I’ve done to my body historically. Because they were all part of my beauty-image healing journey and self-reclamation.
Being such a perfectionist in the realm of being “natural” has actually caused me a lot of emotional suffering, a lot of shame and self-rejection. WHICH I’M DONE WITH… and maybe you’d also like to shift the narrative around your history and see yourself from a more loving, compassionate, understanding, and balanced perspective.
To give yourself full permission to be SO okay with the decisions you’ve made and to shift your energy around them.
I’ve recently had a download about something I’m calling the “balanced-beauty continuum” and how it plays into the “embodied beauty pillars”.
The balanced beauty continuum is a sliding scale ranging from completely “natural” to highly invasive procedures, and everything in between (think lash extensions/nail polish/hair dye) in the name of “beauty”.
The Balanced Beauty Continuum takes into account your mental/emotional/physical wellbeing, your knowledge, your resources etc.
The Embodied Beauty Pillars and The Balanced Beauty Continuum basically sum up my philosophy of how to approach the physical, emotional, and energetic projection of beauty, and cultivate your highest overall expression of your unique beauty in this lifetime.
How you move along the continuum throughout your life will evolve… with the practice being:
~ As your self-love and self-nurturing deepen, and as your knowledge and education on how to support your skin and body holistically deepen, you begin to slide into the more “natural” side of the continuum. The less invasive, gentle, loving, sustainable, and feminine side of the continuum.
The intention here is ultimate self-acceptance, a deep sense of fullness, joyously celebrating your beauty, and having true, un-distracted presence and contentment.
