A blanket of all new hair growth in three weeks?
I know, you’re like, “no f’ing way” and trust me I wouldn’t believe it either. But it happened.
so stick with me.
I started carrying some magical face and body care products from NAO AYURVEDA to offer to my clients. I’ve been using them myself and it’s just been so uplifting and self connecting and definitely part of the venus lifestyle. Three weeks later she comes in to see me for another session and I notice she has a BLANKET, like a halo of BRAND NEW HAIRS. All around her face and through her scalp.
For context I’ve been seeing this person for years, and I spend a lot of time in her scalp. I know all of my clients' bodies like the back of my hand. It was so obvious because I had never seen this before.
So here is what I think went down:
She’s a fiery “pitta” constitution, and this oil is really made to be cooling and nourishing to the scalp, hair, and nervous system. Because according to ayurveda - hair fall (loss) and early graying are signs of excess scalp heat. It literally “burns” the hair off. So this balanced her out.
The oil is fortifying and nourishing to the garden of the scalp PLUS (this is major) the massage piece. Because massage stimulates the scalp, tills the soil and floods follicles with blood, Qi, nutrients and oxygen - giving the “plants” (your hair) what they need to thrive. Studies have shown that massage creates mechanical forces on the follicles stimulating your body to lay down new cells. The result is thicker, longer hair.
And finally the relaxation piece. Your body ONLY heals, repairs, and rejuvenates in a relaxed, safe, parasympathetic state. So the more you can create a relaxing ritual for yourself, your body is benefiting majorly. All the beauty products in the world can’t compare to entering an easeful state.
