What to do with tired heavy, puffy eyes
My eyes were SO puffy, tired and heavy last week

There are so many contributing factors to fluid back up in the eyes, and THIS is the season for it, because it’s spring time, which correlates to liver energy.
This energy is all about the eyes. ESPECIALLY if you’ve been overworking yourself, over stressing and pushing a bit too hard, then the kidney energy gets depleted and the result, puffy heavy tired eyes.
The other aspect is TENSION. Tense neck, shoulder and jaw muscles prevent fluid from properly draining which causes a backup in the eyes.
This eye issue I was having actually was the catalysts for the embodied beauty pillars (that we’ve been talking about). It was really triggering me because my eyes are so wrapped up in my physical identity.
What I’m about to share with you falls under the umbrella of #2: Improve and maintain what you can within the realm of reality, emotional and physical health/wellness, and sustainability (this is where the massage and Gua Sha, tips and tricks come in)
SO here’s how I brought my eyes back into balance:
~ I gave myself a break. Just a little one. I stopped trying to push so freaking hard and softened back into the receptive, trusting state. This allowed my kidneys and liver energy to calm the F down!
~ I got back into my face yoga practice. This particular program is all about stimulating the parts of the face according to Chinese medicine and face mapping to harmonize and balance your system.
