Vibroacoustic sound therapy for glowing skin
This is not microcurrent, this is vibroacoustic sound therapy. This is the 20hzpro. It introduces vibration into the body using special music/sound frequencies.
What is does:
- Stimulates collagen and elastin production on contact.
- Enhances lymphatic drainage and tissue flow/fluid movement to reduce inflammation and slow down inflammation induced accelerated cellular aging.
- Ventilates tissue allowing vital flow of oxygen and nutrients to bless your cells for their highest expression of vitality.
- Helps to lighten hyperpigmentation and create an overall more cohesive, homogenized milky look to the skin
- Releases tension and rigidity with virtually NO force or trauma to the body whatsoever.
- Entrains cells to a higher vibrational frequency, letting go of lower vibe resonate patterns.
Here’s the scoop and how I use this device:
When I first became a Licensed massage therapist ~ a body worker whose main focus of interest was facial and cranial work I was ALL PSYCHED UP to incorporate microcurrent into my practice. That was the be-all in my mind. I learned quickly that I technically wasn't allowed to use microcurrent on the face as an LMT in NJ/PA. I could use it on the body but not the face.
I was pretty discouraged until I discovered sound therapy through Mary Schook. I’m not saying microcurrent is bad - I think it’s a preference. I like the idea of ATP production via microcurrent but I prefer facial exercises to produce it naturally. I don't like the feeling of neurological stimulation on my face. The twitching etc, the tasting of my metal fillings or the cold jelly. What I thought was my dream treatment felt a little too medical for me. I like the results, don't get me wrong… no shade thrown here for those who love microcurrent but I’ve learned I like sound better.
I love that it feels more natural. Like a musical instrument that eventually I grew to understand like a language. I became a musician understanding the outcome of different settings and intensities. Like a seamless extension of my own skills and intuition. Knowing each client would resonate better with a different approach. I could watch to see the reaction.
For those of you who are like OMG I NEED THIS MACHINE. Yes you’d love it. But I also have this thing where I refuse to be dependent on anything, any one modality or service. I want my energy, my intention, my hands, and gua sha tools to be the major powersource of my work… and they are! So I actually use this pretty sparingly. I like to use it as a super boost, a “sound drain” (I’m certified in manual lymphatic drainage and sometimes the vibration is just helpful in getting it done with more ease on me and in very little time). And it doesn’t come out for sessions under 90 minutes. It's very helpful for people who are in pain I’ve found (including yours truly). I’ve embraced this bit of technology like a dose of powerful medicine when needed.
