Tantric beauty: awakening your glow through nurturing self-care

You might be immediately associating tantra as a sexual practice, and it can be a tool to deepen intimacy and connection, but TANTRIC beauty care is about deepening your SELF-CONNECTION through your sensual beauty practices.

Tantra means “expansion device” and “woven together” weaving the spiritual and the physical together.

An example of a tantric beauty practice is to be SO mindful, intentional, slow, and deeply connected to your breath as you massage your face, stretch your body, and speak to yourself in the mirror.

Can you feel the sensory delight of slipping into your favorite robe, the drip drip drop of lavender oil meeting your bathtub water and the glittery sheen of it floating on the surface.

The smell of the leaves on the ground, the warmth of the morning sun on your face, the crisp air in your lungs that feels like a cool drink of water on a hot day.

The tinsel-like sound of your fingertips massaging your scalp and brushing through your hair.

Can you look at yourself and just marvel at the fact that this body has been carrying you for SO many years? It just absolutely loves you and wants you to experience so much.

Can you bless every single sunspot on your skin and find something about your face and body to admire and revere daily?

This is the opposite of being outcome and results oriented with your beauty care. It’s all about the EXPERIENCE of doing it. Of being in your body, connecting with your Venus essence and then bringing that vibration into the world. It’s a ripple of your beauty signature.

And you know what, this is the slow vibrational frequency your body needs to heal, repair and rejuvenate. It’s an energetic, spiritual, sensual somatic creature.

In episode 34 of embodied beauty, we explore:

- How to work with your chakras for amplifying vitality, “energy flossing", and radiance.

- Tantric beauty for expanding consciousness, presence, weaving the spiritual and the physical together. It's a way of being, allowing your beauty care to be soul-connecting, nurturing, and less results/goal oriented. This is not about being a monk on a hill. It's about moving every day towards your higher vision for yourself.

- Practices to move away from perfection and fear and tapping into what beauty TRULY is ~ your unique beauty signature. Transmuting chaos into harmony and being fully present with the impact of your beauty. The energy of peace.

- How the ancient healing art of Facial Gua Sha smooths, lifts, tones, rejuvenates your skin and restores your facial posture. How to use it medicinally and with full presence.

- How you don't need to fear getting older because you are an irreplaceable beacon of beauty who is changing the world through exemplifying self-care and inspiring people to do the same.

- How heart space guarding protects us, but also isolates us and prevents us from true connection.

- How to regulate your own nervous system by dropping the responsibility of saving others and letting them stay in their victim if they choose. You don't need to save anyone...

- How shift your day and way of being to finally SLEEP like a baby. Everything you need to sleep is inside you. If I can heal my sleep, anyone can.

- How to shift and raise your vibration by working with sacred products, crystals, plants and flowers.

- How to be fully present during vulnerable intimate moments, sadness, and boredom. Embracing curiosity within these moments. You are as innocent and beautiful as a child.

- How to heal from the deep fear that you need to be perfect in order to be safe, and to release the shame around how you've treated your body in the past, any regrets around surgeries/procedures or weight fluctuations that you blame yourself for. Your body doesn't hold any resentments against you.

- Ayurvedic hair and scalp oiling for slowing grays, stimulates growth and thickness, hair health and preventing hair shedding.

- Your body is an instrument, not an ornament.
