Relax like your beauty depends on it, because it does!
When you’re stressed, your body (specifically your fibroblasts) shuts off the production and repair of collagen and elastin. This is what maintains that smooth, toned, plump quality to your skin!
Being in a chronic state of stress literally breaks your skin down.
So, if you’re stressing about aging - do you see what’s happening? It’s aging you faster!
But I totally get it and I have a confession: I’ve been a stress addict most of my life without even realizing it. It’s an ancient familial pattern for me. I’m in recovery. And it’s a daily conscious effort to not revert into my old stress pattern of responding.
Once I learned that our bodies don’t heal, regenerate, or repair when in a state of stress - my vanity inspired me to take it seriously LOL.
Of course, there are 100 other benefits of choosing to be peaceful and regulated, but hey, whatever it takes!
I want you to understand that your beauty, health, and wellbeing are depending on you to choose a new way of being. If you won’t do it for your adrenals and organs, do it for your skin and hair. You’ll realize that EVERYTHING is connected and related.
So find ways to relax - take it seriously. This isn’t an exhaustive list but some suggestions:

- walks in nature
- deep breathing
- journaling and processing your feelings
- talking with a friend
- prayer - yes. Literally surrendering to the universe.
- baths and sensual pleasures
- exercise and movement
- energy wok and processing emotions
