Happy luscious, Venusian, full moon in taurus

Today is a gorgeous day to embrace luxurious, relaxing, rejuvenating, self-care. A day to adorn yourself beautifully. To breathe beauty into your home, into your conversations, into your touch. A day to embrace a little more patience, a slower pace. Maybe wrap yourself in silk, light a candle. Seduce yourself and lean into sacred, present, juicy living.

My dream is for all of us to have a little or a lot of this every day... but today is realllllly supportive for it. Let's see it as a powerful portal launching you into your elevated goddess lifestyle.

It feels really important for me to share something right now, and maybe you're cringing slightly at my Venusian poetry...

I don't find this way of being to be fluffy, or bypassing, or shallow. I truly feel that when you feel beautiful, relaxed, regulated, cared for, and absolutely held by the field of beauty, you have more capacity to do the harder things in life.

You have more ability to look into the shadows and embrace the parts of yourself that you've denied, felt shame around, and haven't had the ability to hold in loving awareness.

Beauty creates safety in your nervous system and thus helping you deal with your sh*t from a loving, less attached place.

I also believe that your beauty-care creates a ripple of peace throughout the world. How much kinder are you when you feel fresh and revitalized? How much friendlier are you after you've taken time to exercise, nap, or relax in a hot bath? 

Have you noticed that after you've gotten your hair done and have a fresh blow out you have SO much more rope and patience for people who don't see eye to eye with you. You may even make more eye contact, smile, and compliment people more freely.

You're not "doing the inner work and then feeling whole enough to feel beautiful" - doing things that make you feel beautiful make you feel whole enough to actually do the inner work.
